Memaβs has refreshed and revamped the interior of this building and itβs great! The food is awesome as always and the staff were so welcoming. Definitely check them out and be prepared to leave very full or take some leftovers home with you.

Not one complaint. The place was packed when we arrived. There was about a 20 minute wait, but that was expected for a Sunday afternoon when churches let out. My fried porkchops was crispy, tender, and flavorful. Mac-n-cheese, moist, baked beans were tasty, like the added ground meat and peppers. My husband's ribs were tender, and the Italian beans were also flavorful with the added peppers. My son consumed his fried mushrooms in seconds.

We've been watching and waiting, waiting and watching for this place to open.
It was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
The meats -I had the pulled pork and my wife had the pork ribs' were supurb.
But a SURPRISE was the quality and flavor of the sides, so often a crashing disappointment in so many places.
The green beans were heavenly.
The baked beans were flavorful and NOT mushy.
The whole experience had us wanting to go again soon.
Try it.

The best ribs I ever had, great big, smoky, tender lip smacking awesome! Huge portion and they are delicious. I said huge, like brontesaur size!!! So good. I'm going to get me some chicken tomorrow π. Super friendly people, warm atmosphere and good eats!!! π ππ

Everything was amazing!! We had the chicken, ribs and brisket which all were phenomenal. The meat was flavorful and cooked perfectly and was so tender it fell off the bone. The mac and cheese and okra sides were my favorites, but all of the sides were really good. The staff and the owners were so friendly and inviting and made sure to come out and talk to us on multiple occasions, really good people!!! We will definitely be back!

Amazing food!! Quick service. I absolutely love the piano for private music and they have mock tails for the kids and on Sunday there is a family style meal for 10 people or more! I am so happy they decided to come to Wilmington

We haven't even left the restaurant and I already can't wait to come back! Best BBQ around, and my southern raised husband can vouch for that! Home made soul food! And homemade desserts, everyone is so friendly! We can't wait to bring our kids in for the mocktail bar! It's not just the food, it's the whole atmosphere!
